Bead Gallery

This is a gallery of my past work.

My Lampwork beads are created using Moretti, Bullseye, Vetrofond, Czech and/or Lauscha glass. They are properly kiln annealed for lasting durability and finally, they are carefully cleaned and inspected before sale.

Afterglow

I am so happy with this new glass from Kugler, this shade is called "Passionate Pink".

Masquerade

I have a passion for color and I love dressing up for costume parties. When these beads came out of my kiln I was so excited! Looking at them made me so happy. I hope they make you happy, too, as this is my first auction!

When I look at these beads I see harlequin masks and fancy ball gowns. I think of Mardis Gras and Phantom of the Opera. The great thing is, you may see something completely different when you hold these beads in your hand. I just hope whatever you see brings you joy.

Masquerade - (a) a social gathering of persons wearing masks and often fantastic costumes; (b) a costume to wear at such a gathering

Delicate Blush

I am having such a great time working with my new Kugler "Passionate Pink" glass! I absolutely adore this color. The beads were made using Effetre Opal Yellow as a base with trailing vines and Passionate Pink blossoms.

Isabel

This set of Bicones has a base of Effetre Sunny Mango with hand-pulled trailing vines and Opal Yellow blossoms.

Tsunaji

This set has a Japanese feel. The black base with trailing vines and opal yellow blossoms reminds me of a black lacquer jewelry box with mother of pearl inlays that my grandmother owned. I named it after a famous Geisha "Tsunaji".

Ariel

"Ariel" is a bright set in aquatic colors popular with all of the "cool" mermaids this summer. ;-) I used Effetre glass with a base of Pea Green, encased with Medium Grass Green. I scrolled hand pulled vine cane under the Aqua blooms.

Spring Fling

These colors bring back childhood memories of the Morning Glories in my grandmother's garden. I close my eyes and see the dew drops on the petals and feel the cool breeze on my skin. Mmmmmm…I think I'm going to hop in my car, run to the landscape supply store and work in my garden all day.

Delilah

This bicone focal bead has a black base covered in roses, wrapped in a layer of crystal clear and then topped off with floating white flowers.

Brianna

"Brianna" is a soft and subtle set in shades of pale pink and cream. I used Effetre glass with a base of Dark Pink, encased with Pale Rose. I scrolled hand pulled vine cane under the Opal Yellow blooms. I lightly etched the beads to a soft velvety texture.

Hannah

"Hannah" is a lovely set in shades of caramel and cream. I used Effetre glass with a base of Opal Yellow encased with Light Amber. I scrolled hand pulled vine cane under the Opal Yellow blooms.

Meridith

"Meridith" is a soft and subtle set in shades of pale emerald and cream. I used Effetre glass with a base bead of Uranium Yellow, encased with Pale Emerald Green. I scrolled hand pulled vine cane under the Opal Yellow blooms. The spacers are Pale Emerald Green and I have lightly etched the beads to a soft velvety texture.
